We are pleased to announce that "Jura Rock Festival 2010" was funded under two different competitions. This project has received funding under the open tender for public tasks of Silesia in the field of culture and cultural heritage protection and under the measure "Implementing local development strategies - Small Projects "Rural Development Programme 2007-2013. We hope that these achievements significantly affect the level and reputation of this growing event.

Please also note that lasts accepting applications of all interested in participating in the review of amateur rock bands in the second edition of "George Rock Festival 2010". Deadline for submission is 25 March.
The festival will be held from 8-10 April 2010 in the Municipal Cultural Centre in Lazy. The festival will take place on both the review of the amateur bands and a number of social events and even workshops for singers of rock, guitar workshops and festival concerts. Auditions qualifying teams, will take place on April 9, 2010. Announcement of results will take place during the final concert on 10 April 2010, h. 19.00., Where the star of the evening will be the British saxophonist with the band "Patsy Gamble Band."

I would suggest the band Wall of Brest (Belarus) in Szczecin Rock Festival 2010.

Wall Team is one of the most interesting representatives of today's
music scene in Belarus. Their trademark is
combination of rough guitars and melodic saxophone.

Within 10 years of its existence, the group is still experimenting with
style. Over time, their music evolved from punk to jazz, from
jazz to alternative rock.

In 2007, the band members were among the characters in the film
"Music Partisans" by Miroslaw Dembinski, who
talks about the conditions in which young, active Belarusian musicians
grappling with the reality of his country.

Currently the band is promoting their new album "Dot Viartańnia" (Eng. "point of no return"), which appeared in January this year.

"The purpose of our work lies in finding something new,
extraordinary, in constant motion and constant development of the "- those
words have become the credo of the team.

"We continue his creative journey in search of new glory
rock and roll, and we encourage everyone to join this
walking through our work. "

We would like to present your work well for your festival.

The cost of the concert is 3000 PLN + travel expenses, meals and accommodation.
