Exactly a week begins, "George Rock Festival 2010". This year's festival will be held from 8-10 April 2010. In this framework, there will be vocal workshops, concerts, auditions and the final concert of the festival. Today on the basis of submissions we can confirm that in the competition part of the festival will bring together teams from all over the country.

Undoubtedly, an important part is to get funding, "George Rock Festival 2010" from the outside in two different competitions. This project received funding under the open tender for public tasks of Silesia in the field of culture and cultural heritage protection and the action

"Implementing local development strategies - Small Projects" Rural Development Programme 2007-2013. We hope that these achievements significantly affect the level and reputation of this growing event.

As for the event and it is as it follows. The first day of the festival is a concert inaugurating the festival during a performance last year's winner of the festival, Łazowski band "Stupiffy" and star of the evening, so called. Polish classic rock band "Pal".

The second day is a festival auditions. Since early February, with a project partner, the Regional Cultural Centre in Częstochowa, to all the cultural institutions of the Silesian province were sent information about the festival and regulations along with the card entries. Information about the festival was also placed on any Internet forums and websites relating to such events. Applications and demo material were received by 25 March. On the basis of the material "demo" The jury will select 20 teams that will participate in the competition przesłuchaiach. Sam contest is primarily for amateur rock bands from all over the country, willing to present their achievements in various forms of rock music. He is also a showcase for the achievements of teams, the acquisition of new skills, exchange experiences and performers to present their work before a professional jury appointed by the organizer.

During the second day of the festival is scheduled guitar workshops, conducted by a professional guitar teacher and also Roman Puchowskiego. The second day ends with a concert by Blue Sounds.

During the third day of the festival are scheduled vocal workshops for singers of rock, which led Catherine Kajdzik. The evening will be the final concert. During the concert the jury will notice the results and present the trophies and commemorative awards. Finally, there is a British saxophonist with the band "Patsy Gamble Band."

Participation in all concerts and workshops are free, but participation in the workshops because of the limited number of places require prior registration. Also, please note that each festival participant will be able to support the overhaul of the piano project łazowskiego center.
